Dark Roast with Depth 🌑

This naturally processed coffee from Brazil’s Mantiqueira de Minas region is built from lots produced by smallholder farms surrounding São Bartolomeu. Grown at higher elevations and dried on patios at each individual farm, it carries more structure and complexity than the heavy, flat dark roasts people often expect from Brazil.

We also approached the roast profile a little differently here. With a slightly shorter development ratio than Smoke & Mirrors, more of the coffee’s natural character stays intact through the roast - giving this single origin dark roast a little more depth, nuance, and personality while still landing rich, bold, and comforting.
