// THE STORY:

From Apex Coffee:

This farm is owned by Biniyam Aklilu, a third-generation farmer who has made a name for himself among neighbouring farmers for producing impeccable coffees. Biniyam likes to experiment with different processing methods, with this washed lot being one of his top coffees so far. His strive for quality is quickly making Bule Hora one of the top specialty coffee farms in Ethiopia. Aside from the natural lot we sourced back in 2019, this is the first time Apex is bringing in a fully washed coffee from Bule Hora. This year's washed lot showcases an elegant sweetness that is juicy and complex, yet balanced and delicate. These high-performing, complex attributes of this coffee is a result of the immaculate processing methods practiced at this washing station.

** We charge an addition .50c Grinding Fee per bag for coffee that needs to be pre-ground.

But hang on a sec!

We'd be remiss if we didn't take a minute to mention WHY we think you should track down a grinder to enjoy the best cup of joe possible. When coffee is ground, the stuff inside that makes it unique and amazing begins to degass. The longer your coffee sit's around ground, the more it degasses and becomes a ghost of the beautiful bean it once was. Of course, there are times when grinding to brew isn't possible, you do you man - we figured we'd drop some knowledge in the event it provides a bit of info that ultimately leads you to a better brew!
